The streak ends in Plzeň

Plzeň – Bohemians 2:0

The streak ends in Plzeň

Roman Pivarník made some changes in a starting line up for the 21st week of the season. Václav Prošek debuted, Čížek replaced Acosta as a winger and Fryšták went into the goal for the first time for Bohemians. The coach of Bohemians made this step because of a danger of 4th yellow card for Zlámal and thus complications with the forthcoming match against Slovácko.

And the second keeper didn’t need to wait much for a first show up. Hrošovský took a shot close to a post and Fryšták deflected the ball with a great skill. Next one was in 18th minute when a cross ball found Rajtoral left alone in front of the keeper, but he lowered the angle and forced Rajtoral to hit only him.

After a huge mistake by a home defense, Bohemians appeared in a 100% chance. Patrik Schick got a ball to his feet and went one on one with the keeper. Kozáčik however left the goal rapidly and didn’t let Schick to score.

Daniel Krch showed why he is the captain. It was 26th minute when he headed away the ball from a goal line after the corner kick. But then, when he made a foul and needed to be treated by medic, Plzeň used the situation, Prošek stayed at the back and Ďuriš with Kovařík had more space due to lower offside line. Kovařík passed it to Ďuriš, who scored.

The fourteenth goal of Ďuriš in the season came also in Saturday’s match. It was a second half and two players went on a goal. The substitute Petržela found Ďuriš who had an opened goal in front of him and had no difficulties to change it to 2:0.

Bohemians had less chances in the second half and Pilsen players controlled the game. The series of nine matches without a loss ended in Doosan Arena. Viktoria, on the other hand, won his tenth game in a row. The chance of starting a new series will begin next week against Slovácko.
